We know that all of you are probably overscheduled each sporting season with numerous requests to volunteer for school-based and after school activities. AYSO is an all volunteer organization at the local level, and we depend on you the parents to help us organize, coach, referee, and make the leagues run smoothly in many other ways.
In 2011 Region 25 is requesting a modest fee of $25 per family, voluntary for this year, from families who have children in the league, but do not wish to (or are unable to) volunteer as a Coach, Team Parent, Division Coordinator or Board Member.*
This fee will be used specifically to defray the cost of providing referees with their uniforms and required equipment, upon completion of their training sessions, and to defray the cost of additional coach training that we plan to provide going forward. |
